用NERO燒VCD﹍他吃怎麼樣的檔案？

想學用NERO燒錄VCD，但不知道該拖放怎樣的程式到他的燒錄區。請問NERO支援怎樣副檔名的影音檔？

另外，若有不支援的影音檔，有什麼程式可以轉換？請推薦簡單小巧好用的。

1.Open Nero, choose "Video-CD", drag *.dat or *.mpg to the nero's windows.

Yes. A nonstandard format of a VCD data file does not have, for example, the correct frame rate,...etc., required for a VCD to be played in a home VCD player.

Does the nonstandard format of a VCD data file mean the file like *.rm, *.asf, etc.?

No, it is still the vcd format file *.dat or *.mpg. The situation is somewhat similar to the case of MP3. As you may know, there are also some nonstandard format of MP3 files whose bitrate and sampling frequency are nonstandard and can not be burned to Audio CD (if you use Nero). Before burning such MP3 files(use Nero), you need a converting software (like Audio Converter) to convert them into the ones with standard bitrate and sampling frequency (say, 128 kbps and 44.1 Mhz, or better). Alternatively, softwares like MP3 CD Maker can burn such nonstand MP3 files to CD directly。

I see. Then, as what you said, I will need a converting software if I use nonstandard VCD format files or others to make normal VCDs, right? Mmm... but how do I know the files are standard ones?

During the burning process using (say,) Nero, when *.mpg or *.dat is dragged to data window of Nero, Nero will check the format's validity. If the file is not standdard, Nero will issue warning message.
