The Solution - ICQProxy

The founders of this company were determined to find a solution for this problem without compromising security the firewall provides and so they developed ICQProxy. ICQProxy is an application that runs in your system tray acting as an ICQ Server. ICQ sends data to the ICQProxy client running on the users desktop which then tunnels the data over HTTP to one of the free servers run my HTTP-Tunnel.com This server then sends that data to the real ICQ server. This forwarding mechanism allows people to use ICQ from behind a firewall.
