在b mode zydas 1211+5大概是17dbm、U23G+5 L大概是22dbm、U25G+5 L大概是24dbm,此外U25G+5 L不但Tx有加強功率Rx也有,U23g+5 Rx則無 在近距離沒有障礙物時才有可能跑g mode,此時功率越低越好,進口晶片也有比較好的performance。但大部份user不知自己使用的環境有6~7成下都是只有在b mode下進行,這時如果多隔了幾道牆或樓地板就會感覺power較強的throughtput較高(此種環境都是在b mode) | |

| 會員 ![]() | 小弟向ARGTEK 詢問ARG-U23gA & ARG-U302nA, 並順便問到54G & 11n 的功率問題, 對方提到ARGTEK USB 無線網卡的54G & 11n 功率只有17dBm (50mW) 屬於合理範圍, 而ARG-U302nA 內建1T2R, 新款ARG-U3121nA 則內建2T2R ARG-U23gA & ARG-U25gA 的晶片為RTL8187L, 這是舊製程, RTL8187B 才是新製程, 小弟懷疑廠商打算把RTL8187L 庫存消化完畢才會改推RTL8187B, 所以現在不斷強調RTL8187L 破解WEP 的能力比較強, 實際上可能只是推托之詞 Download - ARGTEK COMMUNICATION INC. |

| 會員 ![]() | 承蒙樓主借給小弟三支ARGTEK USB 無線網卡, 分別是支援802.11b/g 的ARG-U23gA (RTL8187L, RTL8187B) 和支援802.11b/g/n 的 ARG-U302nA (RT2770+RT2720), 另外還附帶三支9dBi 全向天線 (原本應該是5dBi), 其實小弟對於測試實在外行, 尤其小弟的設備又上不了檯面, 雖說小弟也玩過好幾台無線分享器, 然而都已經物歸原主, 手邊就只剩下La Fonera Plus 和ASUS WL-HDD2.5, 加上原有的ASUS WL-167G V2 (RT2501USB) USB 無線網卡, 既然已經借到手了, 只好硬著頭皮試一試, 不過除了連線效能之外, 小弟打算來點不一樣的, 手邊有紅外線溫度計和數位電錶, 小弟打算測試一下實際消耗電流和表面溫度, 原因是小弟曾經數度幫親友從遠端設定無線網路, 對方反映無線會持續斷線又重新連線, 最後發現原因是網卡插於前置USB, 或者相鄰的USB 插了WebCam 或其他裝置, 由此引起小弟對於實際耗電的興趣, 是否符合裝置管理員所顯示的數據? 對於不同的省電設定, 是否耗電也不同? 目前僅有腹案, 還需要一點時間準備 |

| 會員 ![]() | 研究了好幾天, 直到現在才確立測試方法, 請各位先進不吝提供寶貴意見, 首先小弟並無合法授權的IxChariot, 所以小弟只以Win32 版Iperf v1.7.0 和Netperf v2.1 為測試工具, 可於以下討論找到: 【下載】NetIQ: Qcheck - Network Performance Measurement - PCZONE 討論區在比較過手邊幾台AP 的 "笑能" 之後, 由於還沒機會測試公司的Buffalo AP (支援Draft N), 小弟決定暫時先以La Fonera Plus 當作主要AP, 加密設定為WPA2-PSK-AES, 不過小弟發現TKIP 似乎稍快一點, 樣本網卡為ASUS WL-167G V2 (Ralink RT2573), 由於小弟懷疑Ralink Windows 版工具程式會當機, 所以小弟改用ASUS 原廠工具程式, 但網卡驅動為Ralink 舊版 (rt73.sys v1.3.0.0), 網卡和AP 相隔40 公分, 礙於環境限制, 小弟也不夠專業, 敬請多多包涵, 以下為各項測試數據, 小弟打算以此基礎再繼續測試ARGTEK 無線網卡:
(192.168.1.66) PC1 <──有線──> AP <----無線----> PC2 (192.168.1.22)基本測試指令: Server:每項測試計時60 秒, UDP 測試數據長度最大不得超過65507 Bytes, 以上假設Ethernet MTU=1500 MTU - IPv4 - TCP = 1500 - 20 - 20 = 1460 (MSS)小弟發現TCP 長訊息測試並不能增加多少效能, 此外, 由於測試環境一邊為有線, 一邊為無線, 而且有線的速度高於無線, 導致UDP 下載測試的封包遺失率大增 (無線上傳沒問題), 這應該是由於大部分封包都被AP 丟棄所導致, 如果改成Adhoc, 或直接於AP 執行Iperf 和Netperf, 應該就不會有此問題, 然而小弟每種無線網卡都只有一支, 所以無法不使用AP, 否則就不用區分上傳和下載, 一次就可以得到平均值 Iperf 和Netperf UDP 測試, 有一點值得注意, 就是封包遺失率, Iperf UDP 短訊息測試如果未增加TCP window size (socket buffer size), 或者Netperf UDP 短訊息測試如果未增加send and receive socket buffer sizes, 則會遺失些許封包, 所以以上測試指令是小弟多次測試之後所歸納的結果, 如果未能掌握測試要點, 那麼後續的數據就可能無法反映出網卡的真實效能, 其實小弟對於Iperf 和Netperf 所知有限, 所以歡迎提供意見以便改進測試方法 此篇文章於 2009-07-13 03:24 PM 被 FYI 編輯。. |
