Windows2K re-install

Excuse me!
After fdisk my 6 GB hard disk, it has 1 NTFS & 2 FAT32 partitions;
Installing windows98 was no problem, and the processes of windows 2000.
But after installing windows 2000, the system Re-start, the screen show as follow:
******Genernal Protection Fault********

Is there anybody know what`s happened with this??? Tell me please : )

well, please try to....
1.upgrade ur motherboard bios
2.set bios as default setting
3.did u overclock ur cpu?

I could use windows200 even Pro or Server before formatting the disk.
But I can not install Win 2K neither Pro nor SVR now.
I setup the CMOS as default and did not overclock it, but it still can not work!
Do you have any suggestion???
