同樣都是 企業級的防火牆, 同樣和 Cisco PIX 硬體防火牆 與

內含 McAfee 防毒軟體, 可說是集 防火牆, 防毒,VPN 於一體

內建 proxy server (含快取cache server 可設定較大容量　但佔硬碟空間) 有 透通式 和 非透通式支,可強迫 客戶端一定要用 winroute 內建的代理伺服器上網

管理介面也與 check point 類似, 必須用 winroute admin 軟體管理

我目前是用它 當第二道防火牆, 第一道是用 Nexland ISB PRO 800 Turbo 合併頻寬

給個人用也是蠻適合的, 我用 2000 server 架了撥入伺服器 供朋友撥入使用
winroute 也支援 DHCP 給 windows RAS client 與　bootp client 撥入

PS: 剛剛看了一下 server 的記憶體使用情形
winroute 5.1.9 版本 佔用了 28M 的使用量
