Norton nav安裝方式大略可分為以下幾種
1. 利用登入domain安裝：（也就是透過登入時所執行的script檔---batch file）
w2K script位置c：\winnt\\sysvol\sysvol\scripts
winNT script位置c：\winnt\\system32\repl\import\scripts
需將您安裝的nav server的機器上的vplogon.bat ＆ Nbpshpop.exe兩個檔案(位於nav server的c:\programfile\nav\logon資料夾下) copy到網域控制站（Domain control的scripts資料夾下），並修改user登入的批次檔加入vplogon.bat的內容。最後並在您SSC中控台上設定「登入時自動安裝」

2. web安裝：
需求：您的nav server需裝有IIS Server或Apache Server
在您nav server找到
c:\program files\nav\client-inst將此資料夾設為web共用，web共用名稱：「自訂（這裡以nav做代表）」
在c:\program files\nav\client-inst\webinst下找到start9x.htm ＆ startNT.htm將此兩檔案修改
進入start9x.htm ＆ startNT.htm將內文的path作修改;
service name：PC Name 或 IP address
virtual directory：nav（同上面的web共用名稱）

client安裝方式：在browser上鍵入
http:// PC Name 或 IP address/nav/webinst即可
