請教各位高手：
本人有兩部電腦，原本安裝Win98，網卡皆為D-Link DE-220ct(ISA、no PnP)。
兩部電腦連線及分享皆無問題，我也知其設定（IP：192.168.0.1＆2、子網路遮罩：255.255.255.0）。

最近OS皆升級至WinXP，竟因其不支援no PnP網卡（D-Link說的）而無法連線。既然無法自動安裝硬體，我就手動安裝。選擇「IBM Loopback Adapter」，XP說此設備正常使用。照理說就可連線，我也用精靈設了IP、子網路遮罩、工作群組（沒設網域）、TCP/IP，但是網芳就是不出現另一部電腦。

我想逐步探索原因，希望各位幫忙。

1.網路卡到底有沒有設對？----->因為XP只出現這一硬體讓我選。請問有沒有什麼程式可測出網卡是否正常運作？
我知有人常用ping，但如何用？列出文字又如何判讀？請高手告知。
2.如網卡正常，又如何設其他設定？
我試過PCZONE中各位發表的文章，如：打開GUEST帳號、增設對方ID，加入NetBEUI、IPX/SPX通訊協定等，也把小型網路精靈設過多次，結果都失敗了。

請告訴我原因或哪裡有答案，THANKS!!

補充一點：其中有一台撥接上網有打開XP內附防火牆，是不是有影響？？

關於winxp內建防火牆,
1.進入設定/服務,
自己新增個port139的服務,這樣別人在網芳才看得到你,也才能用網芳
2.進入設定/ICMP
勾選icmp相關的開啟,別人才能ping 得到你



另外,
1.測自己網路組態:打開終端机,鍵入 ipconfig /all,看看你裝的那張網卡有沒有起來
2.要測兩台是否相通,最簡單方式就是ping對方ip就可以了,但前題下是防火牆不能擋住對方,或者把防火牆關掉再測看看

我有試過ipconfig，出現這個網路卡的IP：192.168.0.1 & 遮罩 255.255.255.0，但DNS空白。這樣算不算「網卡有起來」？？？所以DNS是不是也要設？？
在網路卡選項，其「位置」項目應出現PCI x（我是說比照其他介面卡），可是我的是出現「不明」，但其下方又說裝置已啟動，那到底有沒有作用？？

PS.第一封信提到「IBM Loopback Adapter」，更正為「Microsoft Loopback Adapter」。

其實你要是想知道兩台電腦到底有沒有對連上最簡單ㄉ是
兩台電腦都開機
然後選一台在開始→值行→打入ping (另一台電腦的IP)
如果PINGㄉ到就是有連上如果沒有的話你可以檢察
網路線是好的ㄇ??可以拿到別人邊測試一下

以下是我用ipconfig & ping 所得的一些數據，麻煩大家幫我判讀一下，到底是什麼原因？

問題一：如不勾防火牆，增設PORT139 及ICMP選項皆為灰色，那改變這兩選項有用嗎？
問題二：aday君提到的作法可不可以說的明白些（因為選項很多），我不知我選對了沒？:confused:

Sorry !!我已知道答案了。
因網路卡太舊，XP不支援，我選的Microsoft Loopback Adapter，事實上只是軟體模擬的，微軟網站說的。
所以我應該買過網路卡再說。
