以Broadcom B43 driver跟工具來講

ssb-sprom

為何要改 PCI ID ,VEN ID 跟mac address ? 通常會有下面"需求"
1.某些NB(compaq,HP) bios 會做wireless NIC check
2.某些軟體綁 Mac address.

3.硬改為網卡vender id and pci id 為apple
ssb-sprom -i ssb_sprom_copy –-subv 0×106b –-subp 0×0087 -o new_ssb_sprom_copy

網拍上BCM43XX 802.11b/g 無線網卡還真不少, 而且價格也非常低廉, 沒想到其中還有這麼多學問!
