我只知道它是叫Gateway

現在我在主機第二張網絡卡設定了
IP:192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:192.168.0.1
Primary DNS:我自己ISP的DNS，因當我輸入127時，Win2k AS 說錯誤丫

客戶端Windows Me設定了
IP:192.168.0.2
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:192.168.0.1
DNS:192.168.0.1

但是始終無法使用呢
不知道還有其他的情形嗎？

我肯定網絡卡禾電線是正常的
因當我輸入相同IP時候，是會警告重複IP的

懇求幫忙丫，感激了。

1: Are you sure that your main computer is able to be online now ?
2: if ans is yes , you can change the setting of your dns into 192.168.0.1 or leave it blank .

I tried to set the DNS in server to blank--it will auto input 127.0.0.1 after I reboot, and also 192.168.0.1

But it still not useful for making the client PC online.

Ai! Why!!??

Dose anyone do that success with my similar situration??

Are there any other way to setify my purpose??

Or if you don't mind,maybe you can use WinVNC to help me see see are my settings correct or not.But in fact,I think it right as the mentioned above.

I am not sure how many peopel have successful experience , but Vico and language they both have .
In this case , people must use pppoe to get online through your modem ,
but you don't . i think that's why you need to try again and again to solve this problem .
I will use winVnc to see your settings , if you and I are online .

In fact,I don't really make sure what kind of broadband connection I'am using.
It just have a lan cable in my home.
And will use a browser to login. With not logedin,you will can't connect with internet after half and hourse.

I see a site had done a explanation for my ISP connection method -- HKBN

But I don't know what different between NAT and ICS

因為它可能是自己有架dns的服務才如此設定
不過我也很少看過有人這樣設定,因為就算自己有架dns srv還是必須得設定外部的dns位址給他

所以說最好的設定方式如下
server 對內網卡
ip 192.168.0.1
遮罩 255.255.255.0
閘道 不用設
dns1 192.168.0.1
dns2 168.95.1.1

用戶端
ip 192.168.0.2
遮罩 255.255.255.0
閘道 192.168.0.1
DNS1 192.168.0.1

若沒有架dns srv的話請將server的dns1改為168.95.1.1,dns2不用設
而用戶端也改為168.95.1.1
如此ok

I jsut tired to use Internet Connection Sharing to make client online, it is OK
But I don't know what different between NAT and ICS

ics 就是簡單的 nat
nat 主要是可以做很多進階的功能
而 ics 都不行 .
若想知道的話還是去看書比較好.

沒錯,我之前設定是有問題的,因為我是真的有架dns server
不過後來po出來後,有網友已經指正過這個問題了,所以並沒有這個問題.
(內容已經修改過了)
至於 dns 應該是要設 192.168.0.1 還是 168.95.1.1
端看個人的情況而定 , 像 cable 不是 hinet 的 , 設成 168.95.1.1 就沒法上網了.
至於為什麼可以設成 192.168.0.1
是因為這個網卡本身不負責對外,他祇負責將封包轉送而已
就是這樣.
不過要是我哪裡錯了,也歡迎您提出來讓我有改正的機會.
