Note on the use of the word "Country"
The KDE webmasters recognize that Taiwan and Basque are political minefields with respect to whether or not they are countries. As in international project, KDE needs and tries to stay out of any such political battles.

Our policy on this matter is simple: If somebody goes through the trouble of creating a KDE website, then we will include it in this list. Furthermore, we will not override the site creator's preference for what to call their geographical area (e.g., calling the Taiwan site "Taiwan" instead of "China"). Doing so means taking a side and we cannot do that.

If our use of the word "country" bothers you, then feel free to substitute it with something like "geographical area" or "language" or whatever. It's just a convenient word to use that describes the vast majority of these sites.

關於台灣和Basque(不知道是哪一國?)
