Beta Exam 71-350: Implementing Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004

You've demonstrated your MCP expertise (by passing specific Microsoft certification exams or by other means). As a special benefit, you are invited to take Exam 71-350 in its beta version for free. This beta exam will not be offered to the general public. A passing score on it counts as the elective credit for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows Server 2003 certification.

Your participation in beta exams is integral to development of exams in their released versions. We depend on the feedback of experienced IT professionals and developers to help continually improve exam content and maintain the value of Microsoft certifications.

**Registration Information**

Note: You will be given four hours to complete the beta exam. Please plan accordingly.

Testing is held at Pearson VUE and Prometric testing centers worldwide (note: this exam may not be available in all countries). You must register at least 24 hours prior to taking the exam. Registration is limited to the first 750 registrations. Contact your exam provider for seat availability, which is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration begins March 7, 2005.

The beta exam period runs March 22 to April 4, 2005.

The beta period is subject to change.

Microsoft Certification Second Shot Exam Offer Details

Learn more about the 2006 Microsoft Certification Second Shot Exam offer
Now, you can get a free second shot at any Microsoft Learning IT Professional, Developer, or Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions) exam.

To participate, register for the second shot offer before you take any exam. You'll receive a promotion code that is good for one free second shot at the same exam in case you don't pass it on your first try. There's no limit per customer, so after you've registered, you'll be entitled to one free retake of any exam that you sign up for.

You can schedule your initial exam through either of our exam delivery providers (EDPs)—Thomson Prometric or Pearson VUE through their Web sites, call centers, or test center locations. Just make sure that you have your second shot promotion code before you register for your first exam. If you fail your exam, wait one business day to sign up for your retake so that we can enter your test results into the system. Then, contact either the Pearson VUE or Thomson Prometric call center to schedule your second shot exam. Let an agent know that you've registered for the second shot offer, and the agent will sign you up for your free retake.

Your initial exam must be scheduled and taken between February 15, 2006 and June 30, 2006. Your free retake exam must be scheduled and taken with the same EDP as your first exam by July 31, 2006.
